MORAVA STYLE GROUP OF MEDIEVAL SERBIAN MONUMENTAL ARCHITECTURE
Only 150 years after the Holy Trinity church was built in Sopoćani (1271), the foudnation of King Uros I, a distant maternal ancestor of Despot Stefan, a new magnificent temple to the same holy day was erected. In Serbia, there are only two foundations of Serbian medieval rulers dedicated to the Holy Trinity: in Raška – Sopoćani, and in Resava – Manasija.
